GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

GLF Music Festival

The Meridian Show Choir had the privilege of performing alongside students from some of the other GLF primary and secondary schools at the GLF Music Festival on Thursday 28th June. To tie in with this year's festival theme, "Music from the Stage and Screen", our choir blew the audience away with their amazing renditions of "When I Grow Up" from Matilda the Musical, "He Lives in You" from The Lion King and "This is Me" from The Greatest Showman. To end the festival, the 100 students taking part in the performance came together on stage to perform "Circle of Life" from The Lion King. All of the performances on the night were absolutely brilliant and it was a highly enjoyable evening for everyone involved.

We are extremely proud of our students' hard work and the dedication they show to ensure that all of their performances are given to an exceptionally high standard. If you are interested in hearing our Show Choir and seeing some more of the amazing talents our students have to offer, then please do join us at our Meridian 'Night at the Musicals' summer show on 17th and 18th July.
