Edible Playground Update, September 2016
Thanks to all the sunshine we have been having over the summer, our edible playground has grown extremely well and provided us with some amazing crops at the start of this school year. The Food Ambassadors have been thrilled to get back out in the garden and worked hard in their first session to complete lots of weeding and harvest all the crops that were ready.
The harvesting process has freed up plenty of space in the edible playground for us to plant new Autumn and Winter crops, so the students will be outside getting their hands dirty again very soon.
The application for new Year 7's to become Food Ambassador will also be taking place over the coming weeks and we are very much looking forward to welcoming the new Ambassador's to the team.
