GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Welcome to the website for GLF Schools, a growing multi-academy trust of 43 schools and with big educational ambitions for our children and young people.

Our trust serves over 18,000 people aged 2 to 19 in a diverse array of settings, with around 2,500 employees. Our schools are in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex and the London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Croydon.

At GLF Schools our vision is clear; we strive to ensure that all our children receive the best possible start in life and, when the time comes, that they transition successfully to their next stage of education, training, or employment. Our teams work tirelessly to achieve this, collaborating across schools and sectors, internally and externally, to deliver the best outcomes for our children.

We have 8 secondary schools and 35 primary settings, each serving the needs of their own communities but united by the desire to deliver excellent educational outcomes. GLF Schools was founded in 2012, and our purpose is as strong today as it was then, “We work together, sharing experience, sharing resources and sharing support. Our schools are stronger by working together.” Collaboration has always been, and will continue to be, at the heart of our culture.

In 2022 we launched the GLF Schools’ Foundation, with the ambition to ensure all young people within the trust have access to the same opportunities and experiences regardless of their financial background or which school they attend. With support from donors and partner organisations we deliver a range of experiences for our children, who would not otherwise have access to these opportunities. We aspire to develop further partnerships with individuals and organisations to widen the impact of the Foundation.
Please explore our website and do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like any further information.
