Future Fridays

At Meridian High School, Future Fridays is a dedicated initiative designed to broaden students' horizons and raise aspirations by showcasing a diverse range of careers. Each week during Friday tutor time, we highlight professions that students have expressed an interest in, providing them with valuable insights into potential career paths. Through engaging talks and real-world case studies, we explore key aspects of each career, including industry demand, salary expectations, qualification routes, and the essential skills required for success.

This initiative directly supports students' personal development, by ensuring they receive high-quality careers education that prepares them for their future. By fostering ambition and equipping students with practical knowledge, Future Fridays empowers them to make informed choices about their next steps—whether that be further education, apprenticeships, or direct entry into the workforce.
