GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Croydon schools cross country

On Thursday 6th of October Croydon School Cross Country was held at Coombe playing fields. We had entries in the year 7 category and the year 8/9 category.

The course was tricky and many students from the Croydon district turned up to represent their school. I would like to give a special mention to our representatives: Kye, Caleb, Zachary and Henry.

All our boys put in 100% effort and have done the school proud by never giving up against some very talented competition. They need to be recognised for their fantastic attitude. Well done.

The girl’s competition is next week and I am sure they will do us just as proud!
