McMillan Coffee Morning
We asked the staff if they would enter a Bake Off competition, Martin Giles would judge the best cake on taste as well as looks.
On the day (Friday 29th September), the amount of cakes and cookies donated by the staff and students was brilliant
During the morning, Martin Giles came and had a small sample of each cake. He really enjoyed this part of the morning, and then during break time we turned the library into a coffee shop and sold all the cakes to staff and students.
Mrs White was declared the ‘Bake Off’ Champion with a 5 layer rainbow sponge cake, who Martin Giles said it was ‘as good as his grandma used to make’!
Benny Millier the manager from McMillan Croydon came into the school on Tuesday 3rd October and collected all the money raised personally.
The total amount raised was £405.10!
Thank you to everyone who was involved!
