GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

New Addington Carnival 2018

On Sunday 10th June, our amazing MHS steel band took part in the New Addington carnival. It was a fantastic community event to be a part of and our students played superbly. The judges must have thought so too, because the three school steel bands from MHS, Fairchildes Primary School and Rowdown Primary were collectively given the 'overall winner' award at the end of the parade! 

This is the first year that we have had the privilege to share and celebrate the talents of our Meridian High School steel band in the New Addington carnival and it definitely won't be the last. The students are already talking about how they want to decorate the float so that we can come back bigger and better next year.
