Transport for London YTA EXPO

On Thursday 21st June, our Youth Travel Ambassadors (YTAs) were given the honour of being asked to present at the Transport for London and YTA EXPO held at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden. 

Not only was this a great opportunity for the YTAs to celebrate their amazing achievements but also to share the success of their hard work this year with other schools and the TfL staff who attended the event. 

In addition to presenting, the students were able to take part in a range of other activities, including 'Rollapolluza' - an inter-school and individual cycle competition on exercise bikes. The students were also able to explore the museum itself, with a focus on learning about different careers in transport, Art & Design and the passenger experience as well as investigating past, present and future transport developments. 

Our YTAs really did us proud at the EXPO and were fantastic ambassadors for Meridian High School. 

The Youth Travel Ambassadors are just one of the many student leadership groups our students can get involved with when they join the Meridian family.
