Forestdale Primary visit the Edible Garden
On Wednesday 16th May, 30 Year 5 students from Forestdale Primary School visited us at Meridian High School to take part in a workshop out in our edible garden. The Forestdale students were given the opportunity to learn a little bit about food growing, get hands on experience of watering, weeding and planting seeds directly in to raised beds outside as well as decorating their own pots and planting some salad to take home to grow. The workshops were led by three of our amazing Year 9 students - Katie, Henry and Sophia - who did a wonderful job of representing our school and teaching the primary school students.
We invite you to come and see for yourself the amazing work that our students do in the Edible Garden and the great work that is happening every single day around the whole school as part of our rapid improvement journey. Please do get in touch with us if you would like to organise a visit to our school. We look forward to welcoming you.
