GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

YEAR 7 ( L 4-2)

A couple of careless mistakes in the first half left the girls trailing 2-0. After half time they came out more determined with Kamaria Forrest and Mollie Ferguson putting in some excellent defensive work to stop goals being conceded. With some smart attacking play from Kacey Blundell and Jamelia Reid we started to catch them and ended up with 2 goals each in the second half. Another great game showing a huge improvement with a talented group of girls.

YEAR 8 (W 8-7)

Again a slow start left the 8’s behind at half time with the score being 5-3. After half time there was no stopping Katie Aveline who has been relentlessly practising her shooting at break times and it really showed. Combined with some excellent passing into the D by Alicia Hall, Katie became unstoppable. Well done girls, you are showing some amazing improvement.
